ASA Real Estate Forum 2019 by ASA Encouraging Councils for Advanced Society
The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) is organizing a grand seminar, ASA Real Estate Forum 2019; smart and innovative society for all. ASA encouraged related departments to take responsibility for the forward future and for the city identity, which prioritizes each city’s difference as a marketing point of a future city in advance.
Mr.Ajaphol Dusitnanond, President of The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) announced that the imperative directions of smart city building are to develop the quality of citizen’s life precisely by adapting the technology of building construction effectively and to response local people’s needs who have different occupation and life-style. Developing the smart and innovative society requires a city identity, specifying aspiration and adjusting local destination’s demand. Thus, the government has distinctly designed seven configurations of the smart city that expected to support each of location developed steadily. For instance, 1. Smart Environment 2. Smart Government 3. Smart Mobility 4. Smart Energy 5. Smart Economy 6. Smart Living 7. Smart People.
It is obvious that the smart and innovative city project will be one part of important factors of macroeconomics of Thailand. The government has organized the trial smart city development in provinces of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC): Metropolis Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Phuket and extending to another 100 cities of 77 provinces within year 2019. EEC is a good model of city development and grown economy which stating 3 big industrial cities: Chon Buri, Rayong and Chachoengsao for driving the economy systemically by administering a system of city identity for creating and searching special point of each city. For example, Laem Chabang a port city in Chonburi has planned to develop a living technology (Smart Living) that represented the safety live intelligently processed by facial scanned software and criminal screening security, which promote such a famous tourism sightseeing gaining more reliability and sanctuary. Next, Bang Saen a city in Chonburi has also developed Smart Living project which aims to support elder and health insurance and to attract foreign tourist visiting in a long term. Therefore, Bang Saen Municipality has developed the identity software for elderly tourist to regain trust and safety. Smart and innovative city project will be an effective model to other cities in Thailand through the forward generation.
Thus, designing the smart and innovative city shall require each of location’s strength and shall be able to solve its weakness. The effectiveness will keep going because of good leader teamwork of related council departments. Therefore, ASA is arranging a grand seminar ASA Real Estate Forum 2019, 2nd edited along with “Smart & Innovative Cities for all”, and cooperating with several organizations; Thai Real Estate Organization, Thai Association for Town Planning, Digital Economy Promotion Agency and National Innovation Agency to discuss and exchange different point of views. Exclusively, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva Former Prime Minister will be going to discuss a topic about the future of Thailand and innovative city for all. Furthermore, Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop Former Deputy Prime Minister will also be going to talk a topic of Thailand: Country of Opportunities & Equality.
In the seminar, the experts of smart city planning will represent three catchy topics. For instance, Dr. Passakon Prathombutr Senior Excutive Vice President/CTO of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng a Deputy Executive Director of National Innovation Agency and Mr. Suriyon Thunkijjanukij Acting Senior Advisor of Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council will be representing a topic of Cities for All. Mr. Pornnarit Chounchaisit PRESIDENT the Thai Real Estate Association (TREA), Mr. Thapana Bunyapravitra Director of Thai Association for Town Planning, Mr.Meesak Chunharuckchot Director of Chonburi Real Estate Association, Assistant professor Poon Thiengburanathum will be hosting a topic Smart & Innovative Cities. Last topic is Urban Tech, discussing about Real Estate Big Data Era, Blockchain technology in RE which will be host by Ms. Anchana Vallipakorn Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer (Baania Co., Ltd.) and Karndee Leopairote, PhD, Chief Advisor of Future Tales Lab, MQDC
Moreover, a special workshop, Dinner Talks, is going to be discussed a topic Smart & Innovative CITIES FOR ALL for educating employees who work in architecture field. The activity will be headed by experts of construction planning; Ms. Tatsanee Kiajtiwaraporn Deputy Secretary General, Strategic Area and Community Development Group of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), Mr. Suksan Chunarrom Lecturer & Director of RCCAB of School of architecture, Bangkok University and Assistant professor Dr. Wijitbusaba Marome, Head of Urban futures and policy research unit of Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University. Additionally, there will be an annual award ASA Real Estate Awards 2019, selecting an excellent project of real estate development which enormously benefits quality well-being of citizen. The award is presenting glorious personnel of Thai real estate and an honor of excellent renown.
