Frasers Property Thailand further extends its sustainable leadership in real estate with national and international awards and certification for the third consecutive year

Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or “FPT”, Thailand’s first integrated real estate platform, bolsters its position as a sustainable real estate company that embeds sustainability within its operations with effective risk management for emerging climate risks, and having business plans in place to respond to business opportunities and global trends. In 2022 thus far, the company has received the following three Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) accolades:
- Selected as one of the sustainable stocks of THSI among the companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand
- Receiving a 5-star CG Rating of “Excellent” from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) to the sponsorship of the Stock Exchange of Thailand
- Achieving A-level for the corporate sustainability disclosures in the Southeast Asia Diversified Business category based on the international Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB)

Being included in the Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) list reflects the company’s ability to achieve significant development in environmental and social data disclosure, e.g., environmental management policies, targets, performance data in part of environmental management, and treatments of employee, communities, and society through business processes, etc. Moreover, Frasers Property Thailand is a company that places a focus on climate management by assessing and managing risks and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
At the international level, the company has been assessed and rated for sustainability by GRESB, achieving the A-level rating this year for its sustainability disclosures, which is higher than the global average of other companies and peers within the same industry with the second highest score for the sustainability disclosures among the countries of Southeast Asia in the category of Real Estate Company – Other. It has also received a GRESB Green Star in the category of Standing Investments, demonstrating it as an organization that efficiently integrates the sustainability principles in the business operations.
Besides, FPT has also been assessed on corporate governance by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD) to the sponsorship of the Stock Exchange of Thailand and achieved the 5-star rating of “Excellent” for 2022, which is the highest level ever given by the Stock Exchange.
