Informa Markets Hosts the 28th Edition of Food Ingredients Asia in Indonesia, Showcasing ASEAN as a Leading Global Food Supply Hub
Indonesia played host to the grand opening of Food Ingredients Asia, the largest food and beverage ingredients technology and innovation exhibition in ASEAN. Organized by Informa Markets, the event brought together industry players from 76 countries to showcase the region’s potential as a leader in global food supply hub and address future global food crises.

This year, Food Ingredients Asia 2024 was held in Indonesia due to the country’s substantial food industry, valued at US$280 billion USD in 2024 and growing at a rate of 6.12% annually. The bakery and cereal market, in particular, is highly popular among Indonesian consumers, with a market value of $51.99 billion USD in the same year.
