One Bangkok, Thailand’s largest fully integrated district,
chooses Mitsubishi Electric to supply and install 278 elevators and escalators, including the first double-deck elevators in Thailand
One Bangkok, the THB 120 billion fully-integrated district and the largest private sector property development in Thailand’s history, and Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MET), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, signed a contract for the supply and installation of elevators and escalators, including the first double-deck elevators in Thailand, raising the bar of skyscraper in Bangkok to be on a part with selected world-class towers in well-known metropolitans with double-deck systems, like Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, CCTV New Site in Beijing, Shanghai Tower in Shanghai, etc. With a total of 278 units to be supplied under the contract, this is the largest order received by Mitsubishi Electric since the company started the elevator business in Thailand in 1977.

The first phase of One Bangkok is scheduled for opening in 2023.
