RML emphasizes the concept of ‘Sustainable Living’ through design of all projects
‘OCC’ set out to be the lungs of Bangkok with over 3 rai of public green space
RML (Raimon Land Public Company Limited), a leading developer of luxury and ultra-luxury real estate with aim to develop projects that are environmentally friendly and promote sustainability based on the concept of ‘Sustainable Living’, is stepping up to add green spaces and bring a good quality of life to everyone. OCC (One City Centre), RML’s newest Grade A+ office building located right in the heart of Ploenchit area has, therefore, transformed its 3-rai land into a large public park, giving back to the society. OCC is also one of a few office buildings in Thailand with indoor gardens. RML also plans to add more green spaces into every project the company will be doing in the future to fulfill happiness to the lives of all whiles caring for the environment in the most sustainable way possible.
Mr. Korn Narongdej, Chief Executive Officer of Raimon Land Public Company Limited, said “RML has developed each of our ultra-luxury projects to meet the needs of target consumers in every aspect. Whether it is about choosing a location that must be in the heart of the city or offering unique design and functions, we are committed to delivering the best experience to our customers. But beyond that, our projects must also create value to society. Under the concept of ‘Sustainable Living’, we build each of our project with care for environment and the concept of sustainability. For energy saving, we choose double-glazed mirror with full height curtain wall that prevents heat as well as energy-saving air conditioners in our projects. For the environment, we have a wastewater treatment system installed. And in terms of sustainability, we make it our priority to do a project under the condition that it must be located near green area. And that was what happened to our projects including ‘Tait Sathorn 12’ and ‘OCC’ which are both very near to Lumpini Park. Another ultra-luxury condominium project of ours, The Estelle Phrom Phong, is also not very far from Benjasiri Park and Benjakiti Park. It is our strong intention to bring our customers as well as the general public to be close to nature as much as we possibly can. We genuinely believe that green spaces can bring happiness and good health to our residents and everyone around the area. And we are committed to execute this concept in every project that we do to offer a better quality of life as well as bringing value to our customers, the community, and the society.”
OCC (One City Centre) which is RML’s newest Grade A+ office building in Bangkok has given everyone the opportunity to get closer to nature. By developing land in the best location like Ploenchit into a green area, OCC is providing great benefits to society and the public, allowing everyone to come and spend time in the area whether it is for relaxation or doing activities according to each person’s lifestyle.
“At present, it is highly difficult to find green spaces in the heart of Bangkok. Our intention is that we want OCC to be a center of the town that is friendly to people as much as being friendly to the environment. We want to bring the forest back to the city and open it to the public, allowing everyone to be able to access it. That explains why we cut the 6-rai land of the OCC project in half, make the first half as an office building, and make the second half, a 3-rai land, as a green space,” added Mr. Korn.
In front of the OCC building, it is designed to be open with Urban Stage, a lush green staircase leading into the project to allow the area in front of the building to be cool and pleasant. The Secret Garden on top of the front of the building is designed to be gradual from the garden in the entering area. The highlight of this garden area is over-looking bridge that stretches out to allow you to be able to see all green space on the whole project. OCC sets itself as a big forest in the city center surrounded by various trees. One of the highlighted trees is the Kanlapaphruek tree in front. From February to April, the flowers of Kanlapaphruek will bloom, changing its color from green to pale pink, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and enhancing the scenery of OCC to be even more strikingly beautiful. Kanlapaphruek is also known internationally as the wishing tree. If you make a wish under the Kanlapaphruek tree, your wish will be fulfilled.
Other RML projects are also filled with green spaces. The ready-to-move-in ultra-luxury condominium ‘The Estelle Phrom Phong’ has been designed to be like an oasis in the heart of the city with green spaces inserted into the common area on every floor, allowing residents to get closer to nature while they are actually staying in Phrom Phong area. As for ‘Tait Sathorn 12’, a luxury condominium project in the heart of Sathorn which will be ready to move in soon, it is designed to have special units called Garden Unit and Garden View Unit, bringing nature closer to residents with full glass on all of its 9 floors. The ultra-luxury branded residential ‘Rosewood Residences Kamala’ project in Phuket will be launched in private sales for exclusive customers by the end of this year, is also surrounded with green area of more than 8 rai. The space is what the project has preserved from the origin while the design and construction have started by prioritizing the environment and scenery around as its center.
