Sankyo Home (Thailand) joins hand with Keihan Real Estate to make the second joint venture in a luxury condominium, SYMYS Sukhumvit 61, worth over 1.2 billion baht. They are commit to develop this project with Japan’s standard and know-how to serve Thai customers under The Hidden Gem concept in Thonglor-Ekamai area. 

Mrs.Sophida Ogawa, Managing Director of Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co., Ltd said that she has got married to the founder of Sankyo Home, one of the leading property developers in Kansai, Japan, and lived there for almost 30 years. Experiencing the standard and the great know-how technology of property development in Japan, she is inspired to deliver the same standard and know-how to Thai people. Therefore, she decided to establish Sankyo Home (Thailand) Co Ltd, a 100% Thai company, in order to transfer know-how from Japan’s Sankyo Home to develop property projects in Sukhumvit area since 2015.

Currently, the company is developing the third condominium project, which is the second joint venture with Keihan Real Estate, a property developer under Keihan Group which is a 100-plus years history group operating its owns eletric railway, connecting Osaka-Kyoto, and various businesses in Kansai region. SYMYS Sukhumvit 61 is a 7-storey luxury condominium, worth 1.2 billion baht, in prime location like Thonglor-Ekamai.

“We and Keihan Real Estate share the same vision that we would like to deliver Japan’s standard and know-how in property development to Thai people. In this second joint venture, we have selected the right know-how technology and further develop it to meet Thai people’s requirement,” said Mrs.Sophida.

Mr.Yoshihiko Maeda, President of the Board of Directors of Keihan Real Estate Co., Ltd. said that for a sustainable growth, Keihan Group has given the importance to expand the business in overseas particularly in Asia. It targets its overseas asset size will reach 50 billion yen (around 14.232 billion baht) by 2027. Currently, Keihan Real Estate, as a core company of the group for overseas investment, has a total overseas investment of more than 3.3 billion yen (approx 942 million baht), including residential projects in Thailand with Sankyo Home (Thailand) and a golf villa in Jakarta, Indonesia.

SYMYS Sukhumvit 61, the second joint venture, worth 1.2 billion baht. In the future, the company aims to launch 1-2 projects every year and uses these three brands to serve different market segments. It also plans to make more joint ventures with Keihan Real Estate continuously.
